Just spotted a story in Gulf News which states that Sharjah is to issue the owners of “luxury sports cars” new smaller sized number plates? What’s the rationale behind this? They are less likely or unlikely to be read by speed radars / cameras?
How can there be any justification for reducing the ability of the police, motorists or pedestrians from identifying a vehicle that is more likely than other road users to be posing a threat through speeding or other inappropriate driving behaviour?
