Kind greetings,

Firstly, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mr. K, A Japanese citizen now have been in Dubai for four years now. Since young, automotive has been a big part of my life, and even now I participate in motorsports events here and also modify my car for track use.

Though I have noticed the lack of road manners here since the time of my arrival into the country, in this past year or so, I have been actively trying to get my voice heard in hopes to propose ideas to help the roads of this country safer. However, I have no idea as where to start or how to get myself heard by the right people or the right authority, so I am starting here.

As what I have in mind may be quite extensive to go into full details, I would like to just address the points:
1. regulations on drivers license renewal process and drivers training: http://www.roadsafetyuae.com/proposals/regulations-drivers-license-institutes/

2. regulations on drivers license institutes: http://www.roadsafetyuae.com/proposals/regulations-drivers-license-institutes/
3. regulations and registration procedures for modified cars: http://www.roadsafetyuae.com/proposals/modified-vehicles/

I am particularly interested in the regulations and registration of modified cars, primarily because automotive and motor sports is my passion, and I myself have a modified car. Yet, I am also proud of the fact that my records (fines, etc) are very clean due to sensible driving manners of public roads.

I do hope that I can help make the roads of UAE a safer place for everyone.

Most important thing all drivers must understand is that driving is not a right, it’s a privilege.

regards,
Mr. K
