One of the key of driving, and safe driving, is anticipation. The deeper you see, the more far away you see, the safer you are, the more anticipation you can do.
How crazy I become when I see a worker moving a red flag warning (asking to make an avoidance tip), and he’s staring 2 meters before the stuff we are supposed to avoid ! So it results as surprise, quick reaction, fear, and it makes other road users to fear also. It’s a factor of accident. The warning red flag should be put, at least, 50m before the situation !
Same comment for people being obliged to make an emergency stop, they put the warning triangle 1 meter before the car ! It should be put 50m before at least.
