Hello,

when we speak about sustainability and environment, I would urge all Far Eastern car manufacturers to reconsider their policies of changing engine oil and filter at every 5.000km.

In my opinion this is a purely commercial aspect from the manufacturers point of view and an additional burden to our environment.

If European car makers can have an oil and filter change at every 10 or 15.000km I am sure that it is also possible for their models.

I always hear their argument of harsh weather condition such as heat and dust; all excuses in my opinion.

For an engine it doesn't matter how hot or cold the ambient temperature is, as long as the cooling system is in order and the air filter is clean.

It's time to change the way we tread our environment.

Best regards
