Allow me to clarify. Of course, I am all for safe driving, and naturally, would hope for people to stop speeding, especially in such areas where there are schools, small kids, or residential areas. However, issue ive personally noticed is that, many people whom speen around drive rather big cars (Land Cruiser, Patrol, etc) and they just speed over the speed bumps, which then proves them pointless.
so, what did RTA do in some areas? make HUGE speedbumps. yes, did this work…but now what has happened is its made it almost impossible for lower cars to get over without scaping something underneath.

I must admit, there is one speed bump in JLT that is huge, but smooth…so any car can get over it smoothly, but clearly big enough that one wouldnt speed over it (unless they want to jump into the hedge).

why not speed cameras? speed bumps are ok as long as they keep in mind ALL types of cars that drive in this country…
